'Art is my passion, I love painting and everything involved in
its creation.'
'When I go into my studio, despite having intentions; what,
and how I paint is very dependent on how I feel. I am
constantly experimenting with different media and processes,
and the content and context of the paintings can vary
enormously.
Significant forms such as the circle and square etc. ,
are recurring motifs, representing on the one hand,
architectural / technological constructs, or conversely
mystical/spiritual pseudo religious symbolism.
Within the context of abstract painting the work is
often metaphysical, in that my responses to the environment
are interpreted, translated, metamorphosed; and go beyond
the confines of realistic/expressionistic topographical
representations.'
